Blinko Local app: the Business tab

The Business tab is where you shape your business on Blinko — move your live location, start in-person engagements like appointment confirmations and payment requests, and control how customers see you.

The Business tab is where you manage your business itself — its location, its face to customers, and the in-person engagements you initiate. Three things live here:

  • check
Change your live location — if your business moves (a food truck), or you run popups and other temporary locations, update where you are so check-ins and discovery follow you
  • check
Initiate in-person engagements — confirm an appointment or request a payment from the customer standing in front of you
  • check
Configure how customers view your business — change photos, modify your service offerings, update contact information

The in-person engagements are built for the moment: tap "Schedule Appointment" to generate a QR the customer scans to confirm their next visit on the spot (see "How to secure a follow-up appointment from a customer in person"), or send a payment request to settle up right there (see "Payments: connect and request payments").

Your business profile — the photos, offerings, and contact details you set here — is exactly what customers see on your spot in their app, and what your AI Copilot draws on when it represents you. Keep it current: it's your storefront for every follower who browses you between visits.

App settings and other general app controls are also accessed from this tab.

Mobile and popup businesses: make the location update part of your setup ritual at each spot — your followers' check-ins and your on-screen QR work wherever you are (see "QR code display best practices").
