Blinko Local app: the Engage tab

The Engage tab is where you reach your customers — four engagement types (automations, campaigns, broadcasts, in-person offers), your active ones at a glance, and the [+] button to activate more.

The Engage tab is the home of everything you do to reach customers. The screen shows your currently active engagements, and the [+] button at the top right activates more. The app supports four fundamental ways to engage:

    Blinko automations — repeatable workflows that run themselves, freeing up more of your time
  • check
    Campaigns — offers, rewards, and challenges your customers engage with
  • check
    Broadcast — send an update to all your customers at once
  • check
    In-person Offer — give an instant coupon or offer to a customer standing in front of you

Activating an automation: tap [+] and select automations. The app lists the automations your business is eligible for — select one to activate it, or view the ones already active by default (see "Automations: how Blinko workflows run").

Activating a campaign: tap [+] and select campaigns. The list is organized by category — Loyalty & Rewards, Offers & Coupons, Content & Event, and Referral Program. Pick the one you want, and Blinko Copilot automatically configures it for you: review the setup, edit anything you like, and activate. Not sure which campaign fits your goal? Sending a broadcast: tap [+] and select "Send an update to customers". A composer opens for a rich message with images and text; optionally attach a coupon or an automation call-to-action, then send it to all your customers (see "Drops: broadcast messages to your followers").

Giving an instant in-person offer: tap [+] and select "Give an instant in-person offer". A QR code reader opens — scan the customer's QR code and beam any offer or discount to them instantly, right at the counter (see "In-Person Offers: reward customers at the counter").

A good rhythm: let automations and an always-on loyalty campaign do the daily work, use broadcasts for news and moments, and keep the in-person offer in your pocket for delighting the customer in front of you.
