Find a print shop, know exactly what to ask for (vinyl, matte laminate, 300 DPI), and what it typically costs — so your QR sticker survives years at your location.

You've downloaded your sticker design from the Blinko Local portal (see "How to download your Blinko QR sticker"). Now get it printed right the first time. You need a VINYL sticker — not paper, not a regular label: waterproof (survives spills and cleaning), UV-resistant (won't fade in a window), durable for years, and most vinyl removes cleanly without damaging surfaces. Your file is print-ready at 300 DPI — no resizing or reformatting.
Four kinds of shops can print it — pick by your situation:
- checkSign & graphics shops (best option) — FastSigns, SpeedPro, independent sign studios. They work with vinyl daily, stock premium outdoor material, understand DPI and laminate, turn around in 1–2 business days; 5+ stickers usually earns a per-unit discount. Typically $8–$18 per sticker. Find one: search "vinyl sticker printing near me" or "sign shop near me", check Google Maps photo galleries for window graphics or vehicle decals
- checkCommercial print shops — Minuteman Press, AlphaGraphics, independents. Good when you also need menus, flyers, or loyalty cards from one vendor. Typically $10–$20
- checkSpecialty sticker shops — custom decal and merch specialists (search "custom sticker shop near me", Etsy local sellers, #yourcity stickers on Instagram). Most competitive for small runs — order 3 to test placement, then scale. Typically $6–$15
- checkGeneral copy centers — FedEx Office, The UPS Store, Staples. Walk-in friendly, often same-day, but quality varies by location: always ask specifically for vinyl with matte laminate, or some locations default to paper. Typically $12–$22
What to tell the shop — give these exact specs:
- checkFile: PNG, 300 DPI, print-ready — no edits needed
- checkMaterial: premium vinyl (glossy or matte)
- checkFinish: matte laminate — protects against UV and moisture
- checkSize: 5×7 or 6×9 inches (whichever you downloaded)
- checkQuantity: start with 3–5; order more once placement is confirmed
- checkCut: straight cut with a small white border, or die-cut rounded rectangle
- checkAdhesive: permanent for glass/painted surfaces; removable if you may reposition
Once printed, see "QR code display best practices" for where to place your stickers so customers actually scan them.
